In order to facilitate the smooth operation of the bed and breakfast, it is understood that the guests accepts our general house rules, terms and conditions set out below.
Check- in -Self-check in from 4pm onwards
Check-out – Please check-out by 10.30am and leave your keys on the hook located on the external door frame of your room.
Non -smoking premises – We are a non-smoking property- if you wish to smoke please smoke outside the wooden gates at the front of the property. Smoking out of the windows is strictly prohibited. We have a CLASS 1 fire alarm system in the building and this will activate if it detects any heat or smoke in your room – if this happens you will be asked to leave immediately and no refunds will be given.
Breakfast time -Self-service breakfast is available between 7.00am and 9.30 am. Please keep noise to a minimum as some guests may still be asleep.
Occupancy– Maximum of two adults in rooms 1, 2 and 3. Maximum of 1 adult in rooms 4 and 5.
Washing & drying facilities-There are NO facilities for guests to use.
Toilets -All of our toilets are fed by rain water harvesting, this may not always look crystal clear, this is normal. Our toilet waste goes into a bio-digestive sewerage tank – please DO NOT put anything down the toilet apart from toilet paper as most things will be harmful to our eco system in our tank. All harmful chemicals, such as hair dye will kill the eco bugs in the tank. Please use the bins provided.
Car Parking– On-site car parking is available free of charge for guests. Cars parked here are at owners risk. Please park in your designated room car parking space.
Wi-fi – Free wi-fi throughout the building.
Prices – We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. This will not affect bookings already made.
Take-away meals – We do not have any facilities/rooms for guests to consume bought take-aways. There are a number of good eateries in the neighbouring villages.
Data – Some of the data gathered during the course of a booking will be held on our database. If you wish us not to hold your data after your visit please let us know.
Garden -We have a large garden that is available for guests to use. Please be aware that some of the paths may be uneven or loose in places.
Fire Alarm – We have a class 1 fire alarm and emergency lighting. In the event of a fire, please sound the alarm and leave the building immediately. Go to the fire assembly point, which is through the gates and out onto the lane in front of the property. Co2 and water fire extinguisher are located in the entrance hallway of the b and b. All of our rooms have fire doors, smoke alarms and fire escape windows. Fire emergency panic alarms are located on the first floor landing, ground floor hallway and dining room.
Lost property-We can return any property left behind as long as you agree to pay any postage costs incurred.
Pets & children -We do not accommodate any pets or any children under the age of 16 at the property
Terminate policy- We reserve the right, at its discretion, to terminate, without notice, an individuals stay where deemed necessary through unacceptable behaviour or as a result of actions which are likely to endanger or offend others. In such circumstances any outstanding account must be settled, no refunds will be made.
Damage & loss -All guests are liable for any loss, damage or personal injury they may cause or incur at the old school traditional b and b.
Keys – If you accidentally take your b and b keys home with you, please let me know and post back asap
